For most property managers, retaining current residents is the number one goal. But with potential residents renting for longer and buying homes later, the competition for tenants is at an all-time high. In order to reach or remain at lease-up, attracting new residents must be a priority. In descriptions of the property and what it offers, include its commitment to helping residents live healthier and more active lives. In the photos of the property, include images of the group fitness studio and/or a group fitness class in action to give site visitors a more visceral sense of what it would be like to live there.

For prospective residents that travel to the property for a meeting with the leasing office or a tour, a class schedule can be included in the informational packet they receive. Power for Life Fitness also offers brochures and one-sheets detailing all the services that would be available to new residents, including free classes, affordable on-site personal training, nutrition and chef services, and more. If tours pass through the fitness center, this provides the perfect opportunity to mention the free weekly classes that take place there as well. 

Fitness is becoming an increasingly large priority for the demographic looking to live in luxury apartment buildings. The fitness and wellness services offered by Power for Life Fitness, and strategically marketing them to prospective residents, can play a huge role in differentiating a property from its competition and take it one step closer to winning the lease.
